her name is Joy. She's my foster dog

she was pretty aggressive and a handful when i got her.
now she's relaxing and learning she's safe and turning into a great dog.
and all 60 some pounds of her climbed into my lap yesterday because the foster puppy was picking on her

    What a cool thread😎

My son brings me joy everyday....he give my life meaning, he's the silliest, sweetest guy and is always smiling and such a happy dude. He is also autistic and I know even the little things we take for granted can be difficult for him...but he NEVER lets him bring him down.....he's my joy, he's my hero and he's my strength and motivation....he is the love of my life and I'm one lucky mama!💗

Thanks for this thread and positivity....👍💐

Joy: my daughter. Particularly the times when I manage to put all other thoughts out of my head and just laugh and be in the moment with her.
Peace: I have a little place I go to when I get some free time, it's like a tiny vally hidden from view next to a stream.
It takes about a 45 minute walk to get there then once I'm there I'm calm. No one ever goes there so I know I won't be disturbed and I can just *be*.

My makeup today and not taking myself out as I was hell bent to do. Even though I wish I could amazon prime a new brain, I know at some point all will be what I desire.

    - My bed.
    - Being in bed with my headphones on.
    - Whole Foods pizza.
    - Watching cat videos.
    - A crisp fall day.
    - Ice coffee
    - Money

Seeing new hire employees light up when they get certificates for 100% quality review.

Or seeing their faces light up when you explain something differently than their learning material and it clicks.

Memories of my husband, the love of my life, my soul mate, my best friend, my person. 💖

My dogs, rescued from horrendous situations. They've opened their hearts and souls fully and with great abandon. 🐶🐶

A Carolina Wren who somehow found its way to Connecticut. Its songs are gorgeous. 🐦

A lie in with a lazy start and breakfast in bed after a hectic week.

Singing and dancing with my daughter. We share the same taste in music.

Having my own personal sing-along concert in the car
Looking over at a stoplight and seeing a stranger grinning or trying to contain their laughter
Spending all day in the water

When someone FINALLY gives you a reason to use an insult you've been dying to use. (Hey, I'm no saint.)

Joy: helping others & watching their reactions after we are done with the task
Peace: walking & chatting with my wife. Nothing like enjoying the things you like with someone you love!

I enjoy watching a total stranger rock out, even better when they are rocking out to a song I like!

Helping people out and knowing you made their day easier.
    Giving gifts to other people.
    Dogs doing dog stuff.
When a dog wags its tail at me and it makes me feel like a good human.
Making cakes for people - I'm no star baker and they don't look great but they taste good!
Taking my grandma places, she has the best time wherever we go
Broadstairs beach - we used to go as a family several times a year and it makes me feel really happy and safe and sentimental all at once.
Being by the sea, listening to the water and the birds call, smelling the salty air. Its so good for the soul.
When my rescue cat lies on my chest and uses my face as a pillow and purrs her head off.
Being at my parent's house on Christmas day, drinking snowballs and watching Morecambe and Wise or the Vicar of Dibley.
Listening to music through really good headphones and becoming immersed in it.

It’s a close-lipped humming sound which means yes, affirmative, I agree.
