I have a lot of ground flax and besides smoothies what else is it good in? Any ideas would be helpful. TIA

When I bake - I put it in my whole wheat choc chip cookies, or in banana bread - anything really.
You can put it on salads, or in yogurts and cereals.

hubby used to sprinkle it on yogurt for an added kick.
i'm sure you could also find a good muffin recipe to use it in :)

Hi.....about the flax seed....I sprinkle on top of salads, cottage cheese, cereal.....when i make my pumkin pancakes for my family I put flax seed in there (must be seed.....not oil to bake with it)....just watch out how much....use gradually, it can give you some tummy trouble .....

I put milled flax seed n no-bake cookies when I was nursing... it was a make- do lactation cookie since all the other recipes I found were modeled after oatmeal cookies, and I'm not a fan... But, It was yummy, so I decided to keep adding the flax as a little nutritional boost whenever I make no--bakes. I sprinkle it randomly in oatmeal and pancakes as well.

Just a FYI...Lactation cookies will not make you lactate i you aren't already nursing, but they will help boost supply if you are. I had to explain this to DH who just about flipped out when I gave our 3 yr old DD cookies.

I use it when I bake. In salads is also good and I put it every morning in my yogurt.
