Oreo Cream Dessert - Serves 12 @ 131 calories each.

Ingredients:
9 Reduced Fat Oreo Cookies
3 Cups Fat Free Milk
8 oz Cool Whip Lite
1 pkg Jello Sugar Free Fat Free instant pudding
Spray butter

Crumble cookies in a food processor and pour/press on the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan. Squirt 10 sprays of butter over the top to help "hold" them in place.

In a bowl, combine milk, pudding and cool whip (I used vanilla pudding but I will try chocolate next time). Pour over crust and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.

Note: I used the 3 cups of milk as it calls for but next time I will probably cut that back to 2.5 or 2.75 cups to make the dessert more firm and easier to serve.

Calories: 131 per serving.

Yeah! I've bought them... but they are in my Eat This Not That book on the Not That side :( I think it said it only had like 25 less calories per cookie than the full fat kind... but that's ok! I'm still going to try this!!!

We have the reduced fat oreos in all the grocery stores and Walmart Super stores here. I was wondering if the 100 calorie packs of oreos would work but they probably wouldn't stick together without the creamy filling.
  • Sounds good --- will try it !!!

Spray butter is all i use anymore. It gives you the taste you need without the worry of cals.

I recently saw on "The Doctors" that the spray butter actually has about 1 calorie per spray -- it is .8 and the FDA allows them to round DOWN! So I would recommend counting 1 calorie per spray to be safe.

Not that it makes a big difference in this recipe, but just an FYI.

This sounds great! For those who haven't seen Reduced Fat Oreos, most big grocery stores carry them now. Just saw them at Kroger today.

So many yummy recipes being found tonight. The sounds like something that friends wouldn't mind being served as desert at gatherings either (could always split each into little cupcake papers to make individual ones.
