so, i live in northern lower michigan, and winter time absolutely SUCKS here. :grumble:

for example, tonight we have a winter storm warning with 6"-10" of snow by 7am tomorrow morning, and this warning goes into effect at 4pm today.

i work monday through friday, 8am-5pm. and i go to the gym after work.

anyway, i'm assuming i wont be able to go tonight due to the weather (i HATE winter driving, it freaks me out  ) and i dont have exercise equipment at home, and i need to burn about 250 cals tonight in order to have my dinner without being starving afterwards. :frown:

any ideas of exercises i can do? i can run up and down my stairs for 15 minutes... or jog in place. but i just wondered if there's any other ideas out there?

thanks guys! you're all great. :flowerforyou:

Well, I got these great exercises from my sons Karate class, same old but i did them one night could hardly walk the next day...

    Back straight sqwats ...butt
followed by lunges (really gets your heart rate up) ....legs
followed by push ups( ladies or other)..upper body core
    followed by leg raises...adominals

add whatever you want to those doing about 10 of each as many reps as you feel your up too. works for me on snow days
Northern Ontario Canada gets those days too.

if you're feeling nuts, you could try this:

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/42048-who-s-hardcore-join-if-you-dare-i-ll-bet-ya-i-can-make

i'm trying it tonight. most of this stuff requires no equipment, and i plan to do it in the garage.

You can also go on youtube and check out the exercise routines on there.
