I know most people don't feel this way, but I'm always better on weekdays that I am on weekends. When my husband is home more my schedule is all screwed up I dont eat right and I don't seem to drink enough water either-UGH. But today is a new week stepped on the scale this morning and I didn't loss any weight but the good news I didn't gain any either even tho it's my TOM and I have been craving anything and everything. So YEAH for a new week and to eating better and drinking my water!!! Have a great week all my MFP peeps!!!

I hear ya! I have a steady supply of filtered COLD water at work, a desk free of temptations, and stuff to keep me busy that I'm not thinking about eating all the time. Lunch and dinner are normal meals rather than fast food and other junk like I tend to do on the weekends.

I agree, weekends are bad for my diet!!! Glad it's Monday and can get back on track.

I am the same way! When I go to work, I take my breakfast, snacks, lunch, etc. with me and I pre-log my food and am pretty much on a schedule. But, when I am at home, I get busy doing other things and do not pre-log my food and tend to eat random things, rather than making my goals.
  • I'm with you!!!! plus TOM came yesterday and its deff taking a toll on me

ding dong hit me over the head  I was a little puzzled about why people were always saying the weekends were harder...I get it now:tongue: I don't work outside the home(well, other than leading a Zumba class or 6), so my week and weekends are all similar. Thanks for clearing that up for me, even though it was inadvertent:flowerforyou:
  • A new week, a new opportunity to do better. Weekdays are structured (up same time, at work, taking lunch at the same time, dinner, gym, etc) Weekends are a beast; parties, restaurants, drinks, waking up whenever.

    I'm glad it's MONDAY TOO!

I feel the same way about weekends. I am getting better, but its so hard to stay on track with weekends. You don't pack yourself a lunch when at home. And when your out with others its super easy to give in and get fast food or make a poorer choice's on what to eat. I try hard to keep healthy snacks in my purse - ALWAYS have an apple at hand.

I also work in a very healthy office, no one goes out to get fast food for lunch, so that sure helps me make sure that I am bringing good things to eat everyday at work. Taking that 10 extra minutes to chop up all my veggies the night before work is always worth it! Even though Sunday nights I HATE making my lunch - reality check that its soon to be Monday!

I am the opposite. I eat better when I'm home and have access to the foods I eat and can prepare myself. Eating out at work is hard b/c I can't quite rely on the nutritional guides on fast food restaurant websites. And bringing my lunch is a pain b/c it has to be refrigerated and then reheated and then eaten at my desk (ugh). I much prefer being at home. Thankfully, I work from home 3 days a week so it's only a couple days a week where I have to go into the office and deal with all that hassle. But it didn't used to be this way. I used to have to go in M-F, which was a huge pain. I LOVE my weekends. I almost never struggle with eating right when I'm at home. But at work, it would be just too easy to run down to the lobby and buy something bad for me.

I wish I were that way, Q. I prepare all of or most of my foods at home and just lug a huge bag full of prepared foods with me to work. I feel I am more disciplined that way. My weekends, especially the ones with my kids is usually spent driving for hours on end, leaving little time to prepare any food. But, I too, definitely love my weekends.
