i have these jeans that when i bought them last november they were a bit big for me and but still wearable but then each time i wore them they got big tighter especially in july but then i just put them on for the first time since then and they feel like how they did last november i think but i think it’s all in my head bc i’ve only lost 3 pounds which isn’t a lot and idk

sorry this is confusing but the question is do you think that’s possible or like it’s all in my head

3lbs can make a difference if you don't have much to lose.
And sometimes we can feel mentally slimmer, other times not so much.
Take it as a positive your jeans are fitting better :)

3 pounds is a lot of mass so if comes off in the right place it can have an immediate impact. Weight loss is kind of weird in my experience. You can lose 10 pounds and feel no different but the next 5 might feel like 20.

Try not to overthink it and just enjoy the victories along the journey. :) Your pants fit you better, and that's something to be excited about. Don't worry about the why.

I have a dress where the waist is loose on me most of the time, but too tight to wear the day after a food binge; and that's only a 2 or 3 lb difference. A lot has to do with where the fat / water / air is stored...

If you're lifting and a newbie, could have gained some lean mass and lost fat. So, fat loss might be greater than weight loss.
