What time and when in the morning do you eat your breakfast? Do you have a snack soon as you get up then have your brekki mid morn?

I do the 16:8 fast protocol so I do not eat anything until 2pm

Depends on what time I get up. The earlier I get up, the hungrier I am, which makes no sense at all.

If I get up at 7, I eat breakfast within an hour. If I get up at 9:30, I don't eat for a few hours

On weekdays I usually run immediately after I get up and then shower and dress and eat after. I leave for work around 7:30, so before then. I tend to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and don't find I want snacks.

On days I don't run and weekends when I run a bit later I often skip breakfast since I am not always hungry.

Weekdays I wake up at 6 am and eat breakfast around 7:15, after I've had a bath and all that stuff. I need to eat before I go to work though (8 am) or I'm grouchy.

Weekends I wake up anywhere from 7-10 am and eat breakfast almost immediately, then either lounge around or get ready to head out doing whatever I've got planned for the day.

Like lemurcat2 above, I don't have snacks most of the time. Just breakfast, lunch & dinner.

I used to eat as soon as I woke, would wake thinking of food and stomach growling. Now, I don't wake hungry, so end up on a 16:8 IF and eat breakfast around 1-3 pm.

I cut carbs due to a medical condition, odd side effect has been losing appetite upon waking. Have no idea why this is!

I head for breakfast about as soon as I wake up every morning. The only difference is that on weekdays first breakfast is a quick smoothie before the gym and a full breakfast once I get to the office. Weekends it’s usually all in one go, unless I have late brunch plans. Then it’s a little snack when I wake up and a boatload of coffee until it’s time to eat a full meal.

Weekdays, usually a couple of hours or so after getting up and I take it to work and eat it there after arriving. Weekends/days off, usually about an hour or so after getting up.

The size of your deficit is far more important to weight management than the timing of your meals. To the extent that meal timing matters to things like satiety, adherence, and having fuel when you need it (for workouts, etc.), the timing that suits other people won't necessarily work for you. As can be seen from this thread, lots of different approaches work well for lots of different people.

    This.

If you need help with hunger then it is time to consider what other people are doing to see if something might work for you. Otherwise it makes no difference. I am fairly confident what I find to be easy for me you would probably find unappealing for you.
