Has anyone experienced a higher than normal amount of acid reflux while doing the keto/low carb lifestyle? For the past month (been doing Atkins for 4 months now) I have noticed mine ramp up to where I am having it once a week, and ALWAYS in the late mornings, and after I eat or drink something that day. Thanks all!!

I am not saying in any way that this is your problem but I experience all kinds of issues if I eat foods with too much fat. Sausage(which I love) is my #1 enemy. That is why I could never do Keto nor too low in carbs. If I stay between 100-150g of carbs I seem to handle fat okay.1

Same, and my fat tolerance has gone down as I have gotten older (will be 42 soon). Can barely handle pizza anymore.1 -

This is me. My fat intake is lowish and my carbs range from 80-120. High fat days = Nexium.0 -
Appreciate both of your responses! I too am now 42, and without a gallbladder. I keep looking at MFP app to see if it’s the high fat or high sodium, but it’s so hit or miss in days, and I can’t find a trigger food that is causing it.0

Here is one study on high sodium and reflux symptom.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16990198
Effect of dietary sodium chloride on gastro-oesophageal reflux: a randomized controlled trial.
CONCLUSIONS:
High dietary sodium intake does not increase gastro-oesophageal reflux in healthy volunteers, despite a decrease in LOS pressure.
I struggle with some of these studies trying to understand them so I am not sure this one would apply...but maybe!1
