My boyfriend who I love very much was almost killed last night. . .by me.
He had been talking about donuts all night and then he just got up and said he was going to get some.
He came back with not one or 2 but a dozen varying kinds of Tim Horton's donuts.
He showed me the box and asked if I wanted one. I said no, but I looked, tempted. Then I said no again. I drank 4 cups of green tea while he ate 830 calories, 790 mg of sodium and 54g of sugar. (i worked it out)

Good for you! Tim Horton's is sooo good but you did the right thing. If you ever have a craving though, a Timbit isn't the worst thing

You rock! First, for being in control of your eating and second for not killing your boyfriend. I hope he realizes how lucky he is.

Last weekend, my husband came home from work after doing the night shift and he not only brought home just a few, he brought home 2 dozen donuts!!! It's just the two of us!! One box was assorted with most of my favorites and then a box of hot fresh glaze donuts. I was steaming. I agreed to have two donuts and then realized he had brought home something else. I asked him about it and he said he brought me home a surprise! It was my all time favorite donut... chocolate frosting outside and creme in the middle eclaire. I think he's trying to sabatoge my diet!!
  • that's awesome!!!! I need to get to that point :)
I probably would of had a donut...or a bite of his! lol

My husband does this to me all the time! Even worst, Im an awesome baker and he beggs me to bake for him. I baked for him last night and didnt touch anything that I made. I had a 90 calorie Fiber one brownie :)

No a timbit isn't the worst thing, the 20 that come in a box that i can devour in 5 minutes flat are.
For me it's best to not even get the taste in my mouth. Then it starts a chain reaction of bad things.

Congrats! That's wonderful will power. I'm sure we all know how hard that is to maintain, especially with all the delicious treats out there. It's great that you kept your mind on the long run and your goal. Keep up the awesome work :)

You don't have to worry about killing him. The donuts will do it for you.

Great practice. That will be one of many many other situations like that. It definitely gets easier.

    that is fantastic.

as for your husband, that's kind of BS for him to buy a dozen. I mean, you shouldn't tell him not to eat doughnuts, but he should respect what you're doing enough not to get a frickin' dozen and then put them in your face while offering the crap to you.
