Went for my yearly physical this morning. I have lost 14 lbs, and my blood pressure was 108/72. At 47 going on 48, I could not ask for a better visit. I was running the Couch to 5K, but I had to stop because of plantar fasciitis. Found out this morning that I don't necessarily have to stop, but I do have to be very careful. Stretching seems to be the key to the cure.

Anyway, pretty exciting day for me because I was pretty down in the dumps because of having to stop running. I really needed the encouragement.

Have a good day everyone!

  • Congrats! Just wanted to add my 2cents re plantar fascitis. I found that running shoes with the curved bottom helped me alot, that and icing my heal in the evenings. Good luck

What kind of curved bottoms do you mean? I am so ready to get back to running.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments.
