I’m Carolyn. I’m 65, work full time, have never succeeded on a diet, and want to lose 40 pounds and get healthy. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello and welcome to Mpf community
Read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum
Definitely use a food scale for everything(cups and spoons are not accurate enough) - you can get one on Amazon from 15$. Weigh all food, condiments, oils, drinks that pass ur mouth and log.. Be honest with ur activity level and logs as well as set realistic goals
Remember it's marathon, not sprint. No changes happen overnight.. Any questions you can't find answers just post it and someone from this huge community will reach out for sure..
Good luck

Welcome to the community!
If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.
Buy a food scale, as mentioned above. Weigh everything you eat and log into the food diary.
Good luck with your journey!0
