Hi,
I've been here for a few months, but just now getting to meet everyone and read some blogs. I am actually trying to decide whether to have a lap band or just continue calorie counting and excercising. I have lost 25lbs in the last year, but now...

  • Hello... Congrats on your weight loss... Thats amazing... I considered the lap band too myself actually... I have sciatica in my right leg and sometimes its really hard to work out when it is really acting up... I'm nervous though to have the lap band done due to some of the complications that can arise... Are you leaning towards it or continuing with the exercise and counting???     I'm really not sure...the side effects have me thinking twice. I was online reading the lap band blog where a few of the folks had throat erosion or lost the use of their throat! That is a huge price to pay. So, I am undecided becasue I really don't want to cause any permanent damage to my body.
