Sept 24th 5k Need Training Pointers!

Hi all,

I'm training for a 5k at the end of September. What's a good method of training? I am doing a run/walk combo right now to hopefully increase my speed. 2 min run, 1 min walk. Each time I do this, it's a 30 minute round, and I try to increase my speed during the run portion. I'd like to get to a 12 minute mile by the time of the race. Currently I am doing 15 minute miles.
