Advice needed

Hi all, I’ve been on a 1200 calorie diet for three weeks, I lost 3.5lb in the first week but only half a pound since then. I’ve started Zumba classes as well to up my excercise. I tried 1500 calories a day but didn’t loose anything for a month so figured I hadn’t cut it enough. I’ve spoken to the doctor who said it’s genetic and I’ll just struggle to loose weight and to carry on as I am but I’m feeling really disheartened and low. Any advice would be great x

    Are you sure you are logging your calories correctly? Exercise seems to be fewer calories than this app provides. Try not to let your doctor discourage you. There are plenty of predisposed people (if not all!) who have lost a lot of weight.

    Yes I’m very careful. Even logging any chips I steal from the kids at mealtimes and weighing all my portions x
