Funny Taste?

Can anyone help? I asked on my wall but it appears my friends have the same issue.
When i work out, things like insanity or running etc, i get a funny taste in my mouth.
It is a sort of a metallically / blood like taste.
So my question is can anyone tell me what this is, why it happens, is it harmful and can it be stopped?

Mucus running down the back of your throat. I get the same thing and that's what my doctor told me.0
