Hello again,
Ok i love fried food anything fried i love. I know it is really bad for me but if i totally cut it out of my diet cold turkey im usually good for about a week than i binge and i gain all the weight because all of the extra calories that I have ingested from the fried food. Is there any way like these is some fake fried foods that you may know of. Or does any body know of some fake fried food recipes that they know of if you could give me some names of that food that would be awesome. Thank you.

How about start by reducing the portion sizes of the fried foods or maybe pick once a week to have sone fried foods.ni don't really know of any fake fried foods. When I saw the title of your post I thought maybe you were talking about foods you fired from your food diary. Good luck with your goals and maybe some others have sone recipes for you.
  • Try getting the food you love and oven baking it instead maybe? Like, chips, nuggets etc but dry baking them in the oven? Even better, make your own sweet potato chips (Google should come up with recipes). Obviously not every night but once or twice a week (allowed for in your calories) to take away that craving and prevent a binge?

You'll get to the point where you eat fried food and its actually gross to you...the oil will be a turn off. Well, at least thats happened to me.

try "oven-fried" instead. I have found a way to oven-fry almost anything I used to pan fry before. I just pick out whatever I wanna cook and google "oven fried [insert food here]"

oohhh... ok- go to www.skinnytaste.com... they do "alternates" to lots of good fried foods on there... i've done their onion rings, fried shrimp, chicken strips, etc and its all YUMMY!!! (plus lots of other yummy recipes)
  • Alexia make AWESOME frozen onions rings for baking....not sure if they are any better nutritionally than fried though.
    But check them out.

Healhty eating doesn't mean never eating those foods you love. I will sometimes eat a small amount of ice cream slowly, so by the time it's gone I don't want more. Instead of eating it fast and getting another cup of it. If I'm craving some sort of "bad" food I'll try to plan it into my diet and eat a small amount as a treat. You don't have to say goodbye to fried food - just be smart about when you plan to eat it and how much. :)
