Goals on nutrient details, what do they represent

Options
The goals in nutrient details list are you suppose to try and match those or stay below them as max limit?
My example is I had 15g of fat today but my goal has 72g. My cholesterol is 158 and goal is 300g and other things are under also. I am eating good food and eating my calories so I am unsure if it is good to be under on categories. Should I treat those goals like RDA?

I typically try to stay under on fat, carbs, and calories... and I try to go in the red for fiber, protein, and calcium. That's just me though.

The RDA for cholesterol is 300mg/day you don't have to meet this just as a guideline. Somedays you may go over but it's not a major issue. You do need to get more than 15 grams of fat as the body needs it to function properly. Good fats like extra virgin olive oil not bad fats like trans-fats. That 72 g I would use still as a guideline but aim closer, JMHO.
