I love the special k protein or the Slim Fast keto.

Check out the "protein bar" threads here for tons of recommendations. I wouldn't be specifically looking for a "breakfast bar" - just something you'll eat early in your day.

Depends on how 'OTG' it needs to be.

There are plenty of breakfast shakes or bars you can buy. Stick them in the cupboard/fridge and grab one as you're leaving.

In the past I've made overnight oats which were a great ready-to-eat breakfast if you've got a few minutes.

Truth is that food is food so you can eat anything you want for breakfast beyond the 'traditional' breakfast foods. Make a sandwich, or grab a chicken drumstick left over from last nights dinner.

I saw "breakfast bar" and I immediately thought of a long counter with bar stools where you get served breakfast. I'm with you now, though.

I've made these before and liked them: no-bake protein bars, from the excellent darebee.com site.

Depends on what you are looking for - more specifically when you mention sugar. Some of those bars can be PACKED with lots of sugar. I try to stay away from sugar and carbs, so I’ve had better lunch in the health food aisle and NOT in the breakfast aisle. I love quest bars, they fill me up. I also like Rx bars!!
