@Thamantha- Good job meeting your goal, it's so hard to be good when you eat with family....My dad is visiting this weekend, which usually means a whole lot of eating out and no exercise. I need to figure out how to realign our typical activities while keeping him happy (he's not very active).0
-
Jennifer- Use the puppy as an excuse and tell your dad you'd love company while you take him for a walk (and make the walk much longer than he expects  ).
I did terribly today. Didn't even track my calories. I will be much better tomorrow. I have to work through two meals tomorrow. That means healthy packed meals and no opportunity to snack on stuff around the house. I don't even know my official weight right now. I'll have to remember to check tomorrow morning.0 -
thamantha- Great job staying under calories and getting such a long walk in yesterday! I hope you did just as well today! I need to hear stuff like that to get motivated!0
-
Did pretty good today, was under calories by 79, hehe, there is most likely a rounding error somewhere in there but as long as I am close, that's alright. Also went for a little run/walk, used to run alot more but it has fallen out of favor in the last year or so but I am trying to get back into it. I canceled my gym membership because it was too expensive and I just was barely going so it wasn't worth it at all.
@Brittony- That's ok, just start tomorrow, definitely make sure you plan some fun snacks for yourself though so you don't feel deprived and gorge when you get home....0 -
Had a good day today. Ate well and excersided. Even managed to get more water in than usual. This is one of my hardest goals. Have a great week everyone!0

Hi everybody!
How nice to see what you all wroted since last time I checked!
Today was my boyfriends bday which means a lot of cake, cookies food etc. I succeeded in staying under my caloriegoal with 56(!) calories left, puuuh!
I did though skipped lunch and did not ate a good breakfast as I usually try to do (sometimes). It's hard to stay under your caloriegoal when people have their birthdays. Tomorrow is my cousins birthday, I do not know what to do and how to do. :S0 -
I'm watching my kitten play with a scrap of paper on the floor.. Man I wish I had that kind of energy!!!
Have any of you tried Billy Blank's PT 24/7?? I should be getting it this week and I was wondering what to expect.0 -
Hi ya all!!!
How are you? This week I've logged into mpf everyday and I've exercied once. Tomorrow I'm gonna have my second workout for this week, I'm going to the gym and try a class called afrodance!
What kind of workout's have you guys been up to?0 -
I run four times a week, plus I walk everyday too. I also do yoga twice a week and I'll be doing Billy Blanks PT 24/7 four times a week. I need to do more strength training. I'll get some from the PT 24/7 and yoga, but I'd like more.0

Wow! I think that your exercise plan sounds good! You do exercise a lot! Good job!
And I read all the other posts recently and I just want to say: Good job so far everybody! I'm impressed!
Now we have a weekend in front of us so let's keep each other updated with our exercise and maybe a snack tip? My tip is a long walk on the afternoon, dinner and then a fruitsalad mixed with honey! Yummi!0 -
The week started out well but I got derailed midway through. I have still managed to get more water in and I have exercised 3 times, although one of those was just 10mins. I am logging in everyday,
My tip for this weekend: If there is music, dance! It is a really fun exercised. For the food, skip on the sauces. Gilled meat is very healthy but you ruin that when you cover it with BBQ!0 -
wow futurehockeymom, that is a lot of exercise.
La_nanita congratulations on getting in your 3 lots of exercise! every little counts, especially when you only have ten minutes to spare, but do it anyway.
I managed to get in 65 minutes walking yesterday, but today has been less good. Going to go for a walk to the library (~60 minutes) tomorrow as my exercise.
My partner is delivering pizzas for dominos just now and keeps bringing home 'spare' pizzas. Very hard to stay under the goal with late night pizza. I don't want to turn down free food though (tight budget), so i am limiting my pizza consumption to one or two slices.0 -
This weak I've managed 3 exercises!
Dance, a walk and running!
One week has gone and I think this challenge is really fun! It really makes me more pep because of my promise to you guys!
Good luck next week!
ps. I've lost 0.5 cm around my waist this week too!0 -
Congratulations Gonnafixit! It is always good seeing your hard work pay off0
-
@Thamantha- I hear you on the cheap late night food, I used to be a server and would eat whatever was mess-up and/or go to Taco Bell at 1am when my shift was over. Thank goodness those days are behind me now. Congrats on getting so much walking in and exercising restraint with the pizza.
I was a mix of good and bad this week (due to family visiting) but I was more good than bad, so I guess that's something.0 -
Thanks! :-D
Jennifer, I think you deserved to enjoy when you met your family! And as we've noticed it is possible to enjoy some good stuffs and still manage to stay under your caloriegoal! :-D0 -
Oh my! Since we started 2 weeks ago Iäve lost 9.5 centimeters around my body over all, 2 centimeters around my waist which is 1/5 of my goal!
How have you guys been doing?
Soon we'll be through half the challenge!
Tomorrow I'm going to try the african dance again, really fun! AND good exericese!0
