Should chocolate be off-limits even when you do exercise? I heard moderation is good, but who knows.

No. Eating chocolate is fine. Just don't go berserk and eat 6lbs of it.0

I sure as hell hope not I treat myself to really good organic dark chocolate, that way I savour one little square (or two) instead of a whole mars bar.0

I don't make any foods "off limits" I just make sure not to go over my calorie allowance.0

^this! I don't have anything off limits either. I try to do so in moderation, but lately I haven't been too good about it.0

I have switched to having dark chocolate as a treat from time to time, I usually try to have a 70% cocao chocolate bar (we have a nice organic range here in NZ). . . .
The 70% cocao choc is REALLY strong and will obliterate any chocolate cravings within 3-4 squares0 -

It also has less sugar and fat because there is more cocao (which is actually a really good anti-oxidant)0 -
1 ounce of dark chocolate can (theoretically) be healthy. Something about antioxidents. Just do things in moderation. My rule of thumb is to only eat dark chocolate, no chocolate with high fructose corn syrup, and to limit the chocolate amount to one piece, bar, stick, whatever. Don't just sit and snack on it, be mindful of what you eat and you should be fine.0

i love hershey minatures i allow myself 5-10 a few times a week but ALWAYS workout like a slave and add it to my calorie count for the day, i also have been hitting my goals and burning body fat faithfully every month.

:drinker: Nope, Chocolate is not off limits, as long as it is measured and included in your Calorie Count for that day.0

I try to stay away from chocolate candies however, my new favorite snack is either dark chocolate or mint chocolate almonds by Blue Diamond. You can eat 24 of those little babies in one serving... it's low in carbs, high in fiber and protein... so it is a perfect little afternoon pick me up. I keep a stash at work and in my bag just in case I get a little hungry and need something a little sweet.0

I eat what every I want, even chocolate. I just log everything I eat and make sure I don't go over. Nothing is off limits for me. I know if I think "I can't" have that, then that is exactly what I want. So, there is nothing I "can't " have.0

I like others eat organic dark chocolate. I don't even like milk chocolate or crave candy bars when I eat the dark chocolate. And it is so satisfying, one square is plenty for me.
This brand is super delicious https://chocolatebar.com/index.php
I recently found these individually wrapped in a package of 10 at the grocery store. Just one square of the 72% Cocoa, Supreme Dark chocolate is only 50 calories. It's a perfect snack with nuts.0
