Weight training - Calories burned

Hi everyone.
I was wondering why when you log your weight training exercise it doesn't have an option to insert how many calories you burned? I wear a heart rate monitor, so have an accurate figure of how many calories I burn during all workouts, but don't understand why this wouldn't be counted in here?
Thanks for your advice!

There is a strength training option under cardio. Put the cals burned in there and use the weight training section to keep track of reps, etc for each exercise if you want (it won't count towards calories).0

Create your own exercise. Under "my exercises"0

I made a "Gym with HRM" under Cardio and just enter the minutes and the calories burned each time I work out. If I have time (and remember) I put what I did in my workout in the notes section.0
