I post in many different sections and I have a hard time finding my posts. I can find the threads I start, but not the posts in others threads. Is there an easy way to keep track of my post so I can go back to them quickly?

It's a bit convoluted but here is what you do in "search" - first click the dropdown arrow to expand the search field, then just start typing your name in the "author" box, then click it when it starts to autofill so there is that little box around your name.

There is also a setting that you can turn on for notifications for replies to anything you post on, but I can’t say exactly where I found it... I am still learning my way around as well (and once you have it turned on the bell icon with give a number for new posts).

Edited to add - Clicking the bell has an option for notification preferences.

There are a couple of other options, besides the good one that cmriverside recommended.

One is to go into the "notifications" area. In either the web app or the Android app (and I'll bet iOS is similar), go into the "Community" (forums) area, and look for a little bell-shape somewhere near the top of the page. The bell may have a number next to it, or on top of it. Click on the bell.

That should give you a sort of drop-down or overlay-box list of a few recent replies to threads you've commented on, with the most recent ones at the top. Scroll down that small list, and click on "all notifications". That will show you all of the replies to threads you've commented on, again most recent at top.

Note: If there is a number on or next to that bell, it's the number of replies since the last time you looked at the notification list.

Another note: If you want to follow a thread (have it show up in your notifications list) without commenting on it, look for a little hollow star either at the top right of the post (when you're looking at the thread details), or at the right of the thread list in a forum topic area. Click on the hollow star, and it will turn yellow, which means you're following that post.

The second method for seeing posts that may be of interest will take you to posts/threads that you personally created (made the first post). It works slightly differently in the web vs. phone app.

On the phone (at least Android), when you're in the community/forum part of MFP, you should see a band of icons across the top of each page. (That's where the bell is, along with magnifying glass for search, and some other things). There should be one that looks a little bit like the speach block in a comic, kind of a rectangle with a triangle sticking out of the bottom. Click on that. You should see the threads you started.

On the web, near the top of each page, there should be a band that has text including "Home" "Recent Discussions" "My Discussions" and "Search". Clicking on "My Discussions" will take you to a list of the threads you started.
