Hi, my name is Renee and I am new to this whole diet and exercise thing. I started going to the gym 5 days a week on Jan. 12, 2009. I recently started Phentermine and have since then started the diet.

I am feeling well about how I am doing and really looking forward to some big results in the future.

I hope everyone else is having a great experience and keep up the good work.

  • Hi Renee
I just joined too (literally 2 minutes ago). I'm excited. I've tried keeping a diet journal and never seems to work. I entered what I ate today and found this so simple. I can see this site working for me. Good luck to you!

Hello and welcome to MFP. You will love this site if you don't already. I love this site, it is so motivational, supportive, helpful, and everyone is so nice, and friendly. I just wanted to tell you good luck on your weight loss journey. You can do this.
  • Good Luck to you both that are new :drinker: Enjoy this sight I do. Great people and good tips.:drinker: :flowerforyou:
  • I'm new to MFP too! Seems like they've got a real good thing going on here.
  • Welcome I have been a member for about 6 weeks. I love it here. I hope you enjoy it too! WE can do this!
  • HI, I'm DeAne. I joined this site about a week ago and I think that this is what I have been missing from my diet. Many things don't have calories posted on them, such as home cooked meals and what not, so this is a tool that I can really use. Starting weight was 205, now I am currently 200 within the last month. Using this site will also help me see when I have not met my workout requirements, sometimes I feel that I have done more than enough exercise so I just stop but now that I can put in the exercise and see exactly how many calories I have actually burned will make me want to do more. Good luck to everyone!
  • I'm new at the weight loss also and only have a few pounds to lose but it will be hard to lose in the area that I want.
