help on losing antidepressant weight

I have been off antidepressants for 7 months and just can't lose the weight. Any suggestions??

    you might want to open your diary and tell us a bit about your current lifestyle, what exercise you do etc then people might be able to give you some pointers...
  • What antidepressant were you on and how much? That makes a big difference to what can be done....... I have been on ALL of them and I can tell you they are all nightmares in their own way. You can message me if you don't want to tell the world or just reply. I can probably help. Also did you quit cold turkey or did you slowly go off of the med?

    when i went off prozac i just started walking literally and i would try and do it for 30 minutes then id speed up and eventually i started running i lost the 20 lbs i gained on them with 6 months i watched what i ate too but more i just ran. good luck. i know i didnt notice it coming on them bam i gained 20 lbs after i had my twins i couldnt believe it, keep with it you can lose the weight

    I am currently weaning off of Citalopram 20 down to 10 mg a day. I am eating my calorie allowance and exercising for 30 min at least 3 times a week. I stopped stuffing my face and drinking lots of alcohol. The weight is going...

    I am getting off Effexor XR... NEVER USE THAT CRAP... its HORRIBLE. I was convulsing by day 3 cold turkey... and that was on accident!

    MAD PROPS FOR GETTING OFF IT.
