Hi I'm starting my serious weight loss journey

Hi, I read some posts and thought I would write my own. Hello people across the world, friend me I'm looking for new people to meet. I weigh over 200 lbs and I'm tired of looking at my old pictures and clothes wishing I was small again. I want to weigh 160 lb. I have to lose more than 50 lbs, 95 to be exact. I weigh 255 lbs. I'm a full-time student and a helper around the house with family so I'm always busy and looking for quick bites here and there. It's those quick bites and late snacks which have caused me to be so heavy. I don't want to eat much today which is unusual, my appetite is usually very strong, so I decided today to start a strict regimen to get my eating habits under control and in a lifelong healthy shape. I have been a healthy eater, content wise (not so much consumption wise), for most of my adult life. I'm eating fewer and fewer meats and less and less dairy products. I hope to be a true vegan by this time next year, having not consumed meats or animal bi-products for a year. I'm learning about new foods to eat and being more frugal since healthy eating can be more expensive.

I've struggled with my weight throughout my life, but today I have decided to make the big leap. I am going to exercise a little every day, eat vegan every day, and eat no more than 1300 calories a day unless my exercising gives me a little extra calories to consume, which it will. I just don't want to eat extra if I only burned a hundred calories exercising. I hope to read more posts about your successes and troubleshooting victories. Don't give up! We can loose weight together!!

    I am a full time student and I have a job where I work at least 30hrs a week. Also had the same problem with just going to pick up fast food or grabbing junk food on my way out. Feel free to add me, I would love to help motivate you. :)
