Maintenance- I’m focusing on losing then maintaining!

Hi!

I lost my excess weight long ago, twice before, in 2004 and 2011!

I usually have to struggle to lose the weight too!

I surprisingly found out that I eat less than 2,000 calories on an average day!

My recommended calories per day 2,200 calories for my age at that time, weight and height! Supposedly if I ate 2,200 calories I should have maintained my weight at 165 pounds but that doesn’t happen.


Now I’m older and my recommended calories per day is 1974!


I have been exercising regularly, and eating my recommended calories or less. But weight loss has been slow.

Well, I plan to continue eating healthy and exercising often!

Time to exercise regularly for my lifetime too!

-aerobics
-yoga
-walks
-sprints
-exercise bands
-weights
-Body weight exercise
-fitness videos
-swimming
-and random stuff
Phew!! The list is so long lol

I hope everyone adds me! Looking to meet more people once again!

    Have you much to lose now? weight loss can be slow especially when closer to goal weight.

    All your exercises listed sound fun - when they are fun we're more inclined to keep doing them :smile: it also sounds like you have a handle on what your calories in should be - wishing you all the best :smile:

    I've been here since 2012, lost 25lbs+ and been maintaining since 2013.

    I’m only starting since January and only 20 pounds down

    I’m hoping to reach my goals this time next year or by Spring

    Hi! I am new. I joined because I have plateaued and cannot get the scale to budge. I’ve lost 12 lbs on my own but am seriously stuck.

    I love your exercise. I hike and do CrossFit. But love to sneak in a yoga or Pilates class

    Keep your head up. I know you can do this.
