I feel more often that my mouth needs a filter.

I run into this at times as well 😬

My life does have a filter. For everyone but me. No one really knows me

Sometimes I feel like I’m my realest right here on MFP. Everywhere else parts of me are ā€œinappropriate.ā€

    One's inappropriate is another's appropriate.

oh i think it’ll happen soon, not goggles or anything like external but prolly some kind of implant that alters vision/perception

like at first it will be sold as like language translation then body language translation (to avoid misreading social cues) but instead of staying in the realm of ā€œseeingā€ better like brain glasses it becomes filtered into a shinier improved reality, then it will evolve into parents wondering if 12 or 13 is too young for the cerebral altered perception implant and psychologists arguing that the anxiety developed in our formative years is now avoidable with early implantation.

    Rose-colored glasses of the future
