Has anyone used any of the over the counter stretch mark/scar removal creams? Are you having any luck? I only have real light stretch marks from pregnancy but I would love to see them go away.

    A friend of mine used Mederma and said it helped her. Mine are to severe so I never tried it.

    Stretch marks are scars. They will never go away. You can conceal them, but eh, to me they're part of life.

    From what I have been told and what I have seen on myself and friends, stretch marks never go away but they do sometimes fade with weight loss and time. They are like scars on your skin, they will never completely disappear. But they do fade a lot as you lose weight. I don't know if creams help or not. I just put cocoa butter on my skin (always have done that even before I had stretch marks) and pray they fade as I continue to lose weight so it isn't really noticeable :)

    Bio Oil works quite well.

    I also agree - they do fade significantly with time.
