Hi guys. I've been on keto diet since Sept 16th, and I've been using MFP since Sept 29th. I'm male, 47yo, 5'8.5", and so far I've lost 19.4 lbs, from 186.3 to 166.9. I haven't lost all that much strength, either... my wife said she can't really tell (good or bad?)

Anyway, I have a very specific question, but I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum, so please forgive me if I've got it wrong. Today the office ordered out, and I got myself a 12" cheese-steak, with raw onions and mushrooms. I pulled off the bread, Bd weighed the aggregate of the cheese, meat, onions and mushrooms, and saw that it was just under 400g. Any thoughts on how to estimate the relative contributions of each ingredient? I know it cant be exact, but any reasonable estimate from more experienced dieters would be most appreciated. I estimated about 225g of cheesesteak meat, 75g of provolone cheese, and 50g each of mushrooms and onions. Does this sound at all reasonable, even without being able to see the food?

Thanks in advance,

--phil

May need to factor in oil.

Yeah thanks. Forgot to mention I added 50g of butter. Who knows if that's correct? I like it so much better if we can order from chains, or better still, eat my own food.

In situations where you need to estimate I feel like it's a win if you can record it and move on.
