So if you look under bacon grilled there are about a million entries in there.
Does anyone know which one is correct?
I buy the stuff from the deli and trim off the rind/fat and grill it.
There are so many entries in there that say 1 rasher which IMO is pretty damn pointless as how am I supposed to know how much that weighs?
This site says 2 slices for 89cals .7/4/11.6 C/F/P (once again no weight)
http://www.thefatlossauthority.com/fat_loss_tips/how-many-calories-are-in-grilled-bacon
25g being 72cals with .5(assumed)/5.4/5.35 (calculated) C/F/P
http://www.nutracheck.co.uk/calories/calories_in_meat_fish_poultry/calories_in_Bacon_Rashers_Grilled_Back.html
1oz being 52cals with .4/2.4/6.9
http://www.calorieking.com/foods/calories-in-pork-bacon-canadian-style-grilled_f-ZmlkPTYzNDY4.html
?????
May as well just stick to chicken/fish/steak as I can actually find accurate values for them

She buys it from deli, which doesn't have calories listed...
I believe about 89 calories for 2 slices is pretty much correct, give or take a few calories... :flowerforyou:0 -

Thanks! never thought to search for deli style :P
edit: 8g carbs? Can't see how that is possible.0 -
You should be able to ask at the deli for nutritional info for anything you get there.0

Try www.calorieking.com
You can look it up there and then add it as a food here. . . hope this helps.0 -
An issue you'll find, Chris, is the difference between American bacon and Australian bacon. Try adding it as "back bacon" or "Canadian bacon" and see what results you get.0

Serious?! I had no idea there was any difference. Don't buy it that often.
Thanks.
I'm going with this one then.
