Newly joined comfort eater!

Hi all, I’ve just re-joined after having the app a few years ago when I used to be a half-way decent runner!

I’m a comfort/commiserating eater and so I find the community aspects of healthy eating a good substitute for the warm fuzzy feeling that food gives me! Does anyone else find that and have any tips on avoiding comfort eating?

    I avoid comfort eating by working out. Lol, I know it's a bit cliche, but even if I just do like 50 squats or some yoga for 10 minutes, the want for that "fuzzy feeling" diminishes because I feel like a bada** 🤣 Also, just distracting yourself. Do something with your hands like cleaning, writing, take some selfies, wtf ever! 😁 I sent you a request!
