I am from British Columbia, Canada and live close to Vancouver. I was wondering if there was any other Vegans out there? :happy:

    It's not too bad finding vegan stuff here, kinda have to shop around between the regular grocery store and the health food store. There is also a vegetarian/vegan cafe that recently opened lol but I don't have any vegan friends to try it out with me:(

    How great!! I love kits....west 4th my fav place....LUSH, CAPERS and the beach. THE NAAM wow. Lucky girl. I live on the Langley/Surrey border. Visit Vancouver at least 3x a week wish I lived there. Any fav restuarants that serve vegan food??

    not near you, but my husband and i are vegans and live in maine. we have to shop either health store and grocery store and we have a large variety of vegan cookbooks so we can sit down and find new recipes that we think sound good, then we can make a grocery list and make vegan meals from scratch. Most stuff you can get at the regular grocery store.

    As far as the vegan/vegetarian restaurant, encourage friends to try it! They wont know what they are missing til they try it!
    Trust me, i know from experience! I am a meatatarian to the core, but ^^she^^(ohiogirl30) convinced me to try it and it is actually pretty good! I like to try and veg a lot of meals to reduce fat!

    Two (my hubby and I) new vegans here in Bakersfield, CA. We saw the movie, "Forks Over Knives" on June 12, 2011 and never looked back. I LOVE eating this way and I have never enjoyed my meals so much.
