I’m a vegan who just got floored by glandular fever/mono. I’m on a mission to get vegan strong! And I’m starting from scratch. Tips gratefully received

There are a couple of things that will be important. First, get on a well structure lifting routine (https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1). Second, I would make sure you get adequate protein (.8-1.2g/lb), but also focus on getting protein sources that are high in luecine. Luecine is a precursor for muscle protein synthesis. If you can't get enough through diet, i would look at vegan whey or supplementation with EAA.3
