... what "NSV" stands for ... now I have one!

Went to the doctor yesterday for my every-six-months blood work and prescription refill. She's got her own blood analyzer and you get the results in near-realtime. I was on two blood pressure meds, one statin, and one for gout: four in all. This morning, I'm on zero prescription meds.

I's a-doin' the happy dance!

    Congrats!!! That is fantastic.

    I will have to show this to my dad. He 47 years old and is on 6 medications. 5 for his heart. He lost about 45lbs two years ago and has gained it and then some.. He has had one heart attack and I feel like it is only a matter of time before he has another. You should be so proud of what you have done for yourself and your family and friends!

    That's an incredible NSV!! I think a lot of us forget the "real reasons' why we're here, as we get obsessed with the size of our jeans and the number on the scale. But that is a MAJOR accomplishment! Improved health and no medications. WOO WOO!! You have some celebrating to do! Great job! Keep up the wonderful work.
