I know there are varying methods for measuring body fat %, I'd try 3 approved ones and average them? I know when I started my gym membership I had my body fat % professionally measured and it was 14% - yours will probably be lower than mine was as I was very soft and had never done exercise! haha0

At your age, it's not unthinkable, but it's probably too low. Even 15% for a female is pretty low.
Caliper measurements take practice to perform correctly. Again, at your age and current physical condition, you are probably pretty easy to measure, but there are guidelines to follow.
As a female, the triceps skinfold is a crucial measurement--I don't see how you can determine an actual number without it, and it's impossible to accurately measure it yourself.
The biggest mistakes that people make doing skinfolds are: incorrect site location, incorrect placement of the calipers (i.e. the "skinfold" is either too big or too small), and causing deformation of the skinfold by pressing too hard.0 -
Woa it's low but it's almost imposible to have an accurate reading by doing it on yourself. Ask someone to help you.0

If it's right., that's below essential. did you have someone help you measure? My trainer always takes the measurement 3 times to make sure it's right.0

Yeah, that's what they ALL say......
On occasion, you have to do it even MORE times.....to make sure it's "right", of course.......:devil:0
