Starting again...post-partum

I'm where I never thought I'd be again - ashamed of my body and weight. Yes, I had a baby 8 months ago, but I know it'll never be easier to start getting into shape than right now.
I started Shaun T's Transform: 20 program yesterday. I'm sore already.
I'm playing in a volleyball tournament in about 10 weeks, and I need to get into good enough shape to not fully embarrass myself. :)

I can relate- after my first child was born I gained a lot of weight during postpartum. Eventually, I got back to my goal weight. Now I'm postpartum again and I'm back at it with working on weight loss.

I'm sorry you're feeling ashamed- that is a hard emotion to experience. Your worth is not connected to your size. You can get better and feel and look the way you want to again! Good luck with your goals!

I love Shawn T's programs... Even when you do the low impact versions you get a great workout! I got T25 when I was about where you (6 or 8 months after baby #2) and it made a huge difference.

Don't be ashamed, you made a human, and it took 9 months to get there, it takes about that to get back on top of things. Plus it's hard to eat your best in the PP year... Babies drain you, and with my first two I didn't have the energy to fight cravings on top of everything else! I find that lowering my standards for myself seemed to be what helped the most.
