I've been a member of MFP since 2006. Why do I need special permission to participate in some game someone started in the discussions.

It makes me wonder if the discussions and blogs are worth it.

    It must be in a group that is private? What game was it?

    Or sometimes moderators close threads or moderate them and you might get a notice like that
