So if I use a half a cup of dry oats, but i add double the water and then microwave it for 2 minutes it DOUBLES in size.. It's still the same calorie content right?

yeah, the calorie count is in dry oats. And adding water doesn't change this since its zero calories. I love putting fruit in my oatmeal!!!0

I believe so... because it gets bigger due to absorbing the water. That's why with many things like oatmeal, pasta, it's best to measure out a portion dry.0

Phew! lol thank you. I like to save the fruit for a mid-morning snack. I put the splenda in my oatmeal with fiber. It makes me much more full.
