Tips for healthy travel?

Hey All,

I’m about to board a plane to a conference in sunny Florida. I packed my gym clothes and REALLY don’t want to fall off the wagon but...days of eating out and tons of opportunities for cocktails are in my future.

Can you share any tips or tricks you have for staying the course?

    Drink vodka, lime & soda instead of cocktails or drink Champagne or a dry white wine. Any of these you can approximate at 100 calories each.
    At dinner, I swap things - if a steak comes with vegetables and potato gratin, I’ll ask to swap the potato for a second lot of veg. Balsamic vinegar as a dressing is better than a cream or oil based dressing. Avoid food with cream sauces. Go the grilled option rather than the fried. I never order dessert - always a peppermint tea or an espresso shot depending on the night.
