Measuring food weights

When measuring meats as far as ozs/grams do you count the weight before or after its cooked?

You can do either, just use the right entry in the database, so if you weigh your chicken before you cook, select an uncooked or raw chicken entry.4

It depends. If the package gives me a cooked weight I measure out that serving once cooked. It I'm weighing poultry, beef or seafood I almost always weigh that raw.0
