Toxic partners

The wife and I are splitting up (her idea/Def not mine), any way, she said "you should put weight on, to fill in your wrinkles, you'd look better then",
I didn't say anything, I'm already 6 stone overweight, why are people so toxic?

    Women are very good at picking up at people's insecurities. And then using that as the insult for maximum impact. Horrible I know.. but although it's not nice breaking up, at least you could find someone who treats you with love and respect!

    What an awful thing to say, obviously deliberately trying to hurt you.
    Divorce is tough, but not as tough as living with someone who would try to cut you down with such words. I hope in time you find a wonderful lady who values and respects you :)

    What a weak thing to say. You’re lucky to be breaking free from the toxicity, regardless of who’s idea or want it is. Health is more than just about your body.
