Wile at a funeral, we needed to leave for a bit to feed our little guy. So we went back to the house that we were staying at across the street. ** So if there is confusion. I left the funeral to feed a 1 year old.
There was plenty of snacks, foods etc. I said, lets get one of those chocolate tarts. So we split one.
I immediately pulled out my smart phone and started to enter it into MFP. This is the conversation that followed.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm trying to find what this tart would be in the database"
"..but you only ate half of one." Looking in disbelief
"I know, I log everything that I eat"
"I know you do, but that's only half of one, your crazy with that thing."
"I also logged those two lifesaver mints I had earlier"
"your such an a##"
"hey want to split one of those vanilla ones?"

lmao! I get that, too. He also informs my trainer and everyone else she logs her food like 55 hours a freaking day! Um, ok, genius.0

Thank you for not posting a mush-mush story about being an ideal couple who helps one another through all challenges in life. Kudos for keeping it real and enjoyed the laugh. Congrats on your 31 lb. victory so far by being 'crazy with that thing'.0

Oh geez, hahahaha. That sounds like my husband!
"What are you doing?"
"Logging my lunch."
"Can't that wait?"
"No because I need to know how many calories I can eat for dinner later!"0 -
Juuust about right...considering the situation, place and circumstances. Couldn't logging have waited, sometimes it's not all about You.0

We're doing a "no-tech" Thanksgiving (which i'm really excited about, esp since we're doing a 10mile run that day....) but I told my sister I need to know the recipes ahead of time so I could log them...0

My Dear Hubby has started weighing the stuff for me that he throws in my lunch in the morning... so I can log it.
He rocks.0 -
Sounds like a conversation my husband and I would have. I don't have a smart phone, though, so I can't do immediate logging, but I update after each meal. I think my husband thinks I'm a nuissance... especially since I drag my feet about eating out.*LOL*

I use my smart phone to look up the menu items before I order at a resturant.
I will have the whole table waiting on me to look up food!0 -

Eh, if there wasn't anyone around, then it doesn't really matter. Not like he was logging in the middle of the eulogy.
If I know I'm with people who are going to get puffy about me logging my food immediately, then I'll excuse myself to the bathroom and log from in there. Most of the time, though. I'll log my food as soon as I place my order at a restaurant, unless I have pre-planned my meal.0 -
*edited the OP. to much anger on this one, so delete.0

When I went to visit my mom for 3 days, I let her know i would have 1 cheat meal (the whole pescatarian thing... I ate, like, 2oz of corned beef), and logged everything as soon as I ate. She was completely understanding since I warned her ahead of time.
Now my hub? Not so much all the time.
However, I really couldn't give a rat's *kitten*. I've maintained this healthy weight for over 2 years now. :bigsmile:0 -
My significant other is upset that I can't eat the same food that he does (beef, ribs, etc.) and gives me a hard time about logging regards of when I do it. NO, he isn't overweight - he runs 6miles a day. Not sure what the issue is but glad I found this site!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0

We did. Funny thing is that it turned out to be lemon.
I just cut my losses and logged a full lemon tart.0
