Food Addiction

I recently found out that I have food addiction and I have no one but my mom you knows what I'm going through. I really need a support group of friends to help me through this. Any help would be nice.

There are books on food addiction, see if your local library has any.

I would also take that information with a huge grain of salt, particularly if said book is put out by the diet and fitness industry and or quack Dr. like Oz. Better off researching the psychology of addiction in general as most addictions have overlapping elements.

People will probably disagree with me but anyway. I suggest just going a whole day fasting or not eating much. Be mindful, eventually your appetite kind of resets and you don’t have cravings any more.

Ruby, I am also a binge eater. I was attending Over Eaters Anonymous but stopped going. The meetings actually do help and you can attend a group via phone too.
