I’m thinking I might have to tweak my macros , at 52 and only like 10 lbs to lose , I might have to be slightly stricter

Macros make little difference for weight loss. They can affect satiety and compliance. With only 10 lbs to lose, a goal set at .5 lbs per week and eating to that calorie target will do it. But, it's slow going when you are that close to goal. Why do you think changing your macros will make a difference for you?6

Well, some people find different macros make it easier to stick to a lower calorie thing. When I got to that last 15 pounds, it just took a long time. Like nine months and it was difficult for me to stick to even my tiny 300 calorie per day deficit. I ended up going with about 125-150g of carbs on 1600 calories.
It's still about staying in calorie goals.
How strict are you on your logging? Using a food scale? Logging every day? Eating mostly home-prepared foods? That's how I had to do it, otherwise I was under-eating then over-eating and I needed strict control at that last few pounds so I would not only not eat too much but also so I would eat enough.3 -
I didn’t tweak , my fat is dropping , I haven’t weighed in , but suddenly after two weeks , it’s starting to come off ! Thanks For the thoughts!0
