Trouble with Fitbit/MFP calorie tracking

Hey, all!

So I've linked my Fitbit to MFP, and while I've had no issues with steps being shared between apps, the Fitbit app doesn't seem to recognize when foods are deleted from MFP logs.

Example: I had pre-logged my dinner this morning, then ended up getting a migraine and losing my appetite, so I didn't cook. I deleted the meal from the MFP diary. But all the calories of that meal are still showing up on the Fitbit app and are still being counted.

Is this a known glitch that has a fix, or do I just have to not pre-record meals if I'm linked up to Fitbit?

I can't get my fitbit data to show up on mpg, tho itbsays they're linked. I didn't even know mfp data was supposed to show up on the fitbit app! Needless to say, that isn't happening.

    Can anyone help?

    There's nothing to help

You can look at your food on MFP.
And look at your exercise and TDEE on Fitbit.

If you try to go to Fitbit to find semi accurate food logging transferred from MFP, you will have to again and again sit there and manually edit out all the double meals that keep transferring over after you edit something on MFP.

This has been going on for years and is obviously not a priority for Fitbit to fix. They are the ones who are pulling the data, in this instance, from MFP, and they would have to either pull the data only once a day, well after midnight, or, they would have to periodically check and see whether your log has changed and correct what they've pulled, or they would have to do a complete pull and overwrite the previous logs... all things which they are obviously not doing.
