I was really dedicated to running and lost 35 lbs! But recently, I’ve started a new job and the training was 7 weeks and we sat A LOT. I’ve gain almost 8 lbs back and was running off and on but not consistently. My eating habits are terrible as well. I need a little motivation! I ran 5.5 miles today which is a good start. Post some of your motivation please & thanks!

I've been having similar problems. I ran my 3rd Marathon this fall as well as a Ragnar. I've been in a rutt ever since. I've recently started taking up cross country skiing and have really been enjoying that. It makes it easier to get going if its something that i enjoy. Good luck to you :)

Sounds to me you need some combo of lower calories and/or more movement, I'm struggling with the same thing! I just reached maintenance and have gained the last two months, I'm still trying to figure out calories and the right balance. Now that the training is over do you have time to return to running? I'm trying to think of food as what's nourishing my body to perform. You don't have to eat healthy to lose weight but healthy food is good for your health. Pick a habit and do your best to improve it. A friend of mine quotes a saying of how far you would get being 1% better each day, it's not as bad to think of changes as a little at a time.
