Today was a turning point!

I started taking medication about a month ago and I've gained about 40 pounds from it... I've always been on the smaller side and so I've really been struggling with this change. I made the decision to start changing my diet and implementing working out back into my weekly routine. (I work 45-50 hour weeks and commute about an hour both ways, so I need to ease back into it to find a healthy balance.)

I started tracking macros this week and I've hit my daily goal almost every night. And today I did yoga for the first time in 3 months and closed the exercise ring on my Apple Watch for the first time in 2 months. I also hit my macros almost to the T today.

Little victories. It's still early in my lifestyle change, but it's nice to acknowledge the positivity I'm feeling tonight. <3

    I don't know your details, but it isn't unusual for a good bit of medication-related weight gain to be about water retention rather than fat gain. If so in your case, perhaps there's a chance of some of it dropping off as your health improves, too, even if you're following a sensibly moderate calorie goal that has any needed fat loss on a little more conservative track.
