Hello,
I am looking for some help! I have lost 20 lbs so far with a goal of 50 and I am stuck! I am counting calories and exercising, but recently due to house projects and small children I am not exercising regularly, I am not sitting around either.... I am getting back to exercising but I am looking to get over the weight loss slump. I have been down to 23 lbs lost but keep fluxuating between the 20-23 lbs lost mark. I am NOT looking to lose alot fast, just get going again. If anyone has a cleansing or ideas of how to achieve this I am all eyes!

You can try cycling calories.
Basically, exercise 2 times a week and eat at or slightly above your maintenance level.
For the other days, you can go on a safe calorie deficit.
For example, if you're at maintenance on exercise days and 500 below on resting days, you'll be at a 2500 calorie deficit per week, which is about a pound every 1.4 weeks.0 -
You are watching your calories intake excellent.
1. drink your water 8( 8 )ounces a day
2. watch your sodium levels, this site allows 2,500 but try to eat less than that
3. when you get a chance to exercise try adding just 5-10 more on to your normal workout.
4. Try grounded flax seed & grounded fennel seed, but use in MODERATION 1-2 tablespoon a day only if you try flax seed than don't eat the fennel seed that day. Goole both of these spices there are some many benefits.
I wish you best.0 -
Myabe set your level in MFP to the not sedentary but not over active and see what calories you get set?
Maybe you are over estimating the calories that you should be eating based on previous amounts that you entered?0 -
Thank you for all the good suggesions, I forgot to reset my calories based on my activity level. I will look up the fennel seeds and ground flax seed. I may have them in vitamin form, I will have to check the cabinet. I also appreciate the explanation of the calorie defecit, I did not really understand that before. I thought about this alot after I posted and also realized my priorities have changed in the last month and when that happens sometimes I forget to make the time to get what I need in. So I am taking the rest of the week to get organized and back on track. Tonight I was in a hurry, I had to go gorcery shopping after working a 10 hour day and then get home to ffe the baby and the 4 year old. I also have housework to get to so I got a roasted chicken and roasted veggies for dinner. I think I just needed a few new ideas and some encouragement. THANK YOU!!!!0
