Calories burned during exercise

this may be a stupid question but are you suppose to eat the calories back that you burn during exercise? Thanks.

    I don't think its a stupid question,I wonder that myself. If I burn a lot with exercise, then it tells me my body might think I,m starving it. But then the next day if I don't exercise I am eating too much. I would like the answer also.

    Well there are multiple methods to figure out caloric needs. You can use a tool like below and factor in lifestyle and exercise to figure out what you should eat on a daily basis. Doing this you won't have to eat back exercise calories as it's baked into the number. The other option is go by MFP's way and start eating back soem exercise calories. Now you might start with 50% of the calories until you figure out what you are really burning. If you have a heart rate monitor, then you can eat back all the exercise calories.
