I’m so stoked I’m about to grow my own sprouts at home once my sprouting trays and seeds arrive! Anyone else sprout their own?

Use to make bean sprouts from mung beans. Very easy but haven't done it in decades.

I’ve been growing my own broccoli sprouts since March. The sulforaphane in them is higher than broccoli and has great health benefits. I grow them in quart canning jars though. I’m planning on growing radish sprouts as well. Love sprouts on salads, sandwiches and just for snacking.

I grow my own pea and fava bean shoots from beans sold for cooking. Very easy and much cheaper than buying microgreens.

I have also read that corn shoots make good eating, grown from kernals for popping.

If anyone is interested there's a MFP article on sprouting grains, beans, and nuts that was on my homepage today, one of the few articles I wanted to read. It's talking about the benefits of sprouting before eating, not actually growing microgreens which is what I'd like to start doing.

Yes I've sprouted many bean varieties. Very easy to do. And a lovely, delicious topping for many of my meals.
